FARJAR fire classification's description

Materials used on board an aircraft must comply with the JAR (Joint Aviation Regulation) and FAR (Federal Aviation Regulation) regulations. Products in the Velto range intended for this type of environment have been subjected to two types of test: JAR/FAR 25 852: This relates to flammability of the materials used in the crew and passengers spaces; it is divided into two parts, (a) and (b). Part (a) covers partition and ceiling panels, etc. Part (b) relates to carpeting, fabrics, seat cushions, etc. JAR/FAR 25 855: This relates to flammability of the materials used in the spaces intended for goods and luggage. The classification reports are drawn up by certified laboratories, and renewed every five years
